    Default Drop Links

When the car is jacked up and the front wheels are removed, should you be able to move the drop links by hand , i.e swivel side to side

or should they be ridged ?

Got a "crunching" from the right hand side , but only happens as i drive onto my driveway , as the kerb is slightly raised 1/2 inch ?

You should be able to swivel them, they have ball joints on the ends. They should not have any other movement, like side to side or up and down or knock.

    Thats hard to say?

The ones I have replaced were when they were knocking over bumps or turning the steering.

They should move freely, like any ball joint, but should have no or minimal free play.

With the wheel on the ground, is there any play when trying to move the wheel at 12 o'clock position?
