    Angry mileage reset button broke

    mileage reset button is not working, and i need to get rid of my service light on the dash, is there any whey to do this without going to stealers, disconnect battery or something, my cheap code reader is no good, any ideas chaps.

    Assuming its the pin to the migage rest bit which has broken then buy a cheap set of broken clocks off ebay and then swap the parts over... Dead easy to do (there several guides on her about taking the clocks out and dismanteling them)...

    Failing that see someone with Op-com / Vaux-Com and they can also do it for you.

    Or... if it's the clocks which are at fault then buy a working set of new clocks fro ebay... They are plug and play... but you will need to have one which matched the rev reange etc and the millage will be different as these are locked to the clocks witht he CProm (is that what its called..?)

    its just the reset buttom thats broke

    if i had to get new clocks with near the same mileage is it a straight plug and play, or do i have to get them tech2 or something.

    As far as I am aware they are plug and play.... Someone will confirm this shortly I am sure.

    Just make sure they match the set you have (pre face lift have a tech screen on the rev counter and post ones dont etc...)
