I use the vectra for work, but occasionaly it ends up testing equipent and techniques etc too, despite refering to it as "the daily diesel of doom" I do quite like it

Loving the opal gril.... Is it colout coded...?

I have the opal grill also and have been thinking about doing this... any chance of a close up pic of the gril if it is colour coded...

As for the shots... these are well impresive... Was it just great timing by the snapper to catch the car?

I had a mate who did somethign similar goign through the Glasgow Clyde tunnel... expect he was hanging out of another car to do it... Nutter that he is...!

Its the signum grill, Is currently all chrome, a bit too much chrome for me, will probably colour code it except for the badge soon.

These shots are actually faked and composed of two or more images, lots of work, sometimes its easier to get a real tracking shot. Its also lit with 3 strobes. Each pic is 2 or more pictures.

Thanks chewy, It is an sri but has the different bumper from other models, was a cat-c. Got it cheap without much history, I work on my own cars though so servicing it and sorting out any nigles doesnt bother me, and I quite liked the smoother bumper. Now with the simpler opel signum grill. I dont know about it being the classiest around, but I do have a bit of a cleaning ocd, interior has to be spotless too

Top one is way too obviously fake, darkening the windows to hide the fact there's no driver and the front wheels pointing away from the direction of "travel" and with the fake blurring done on them as well as the studio lighting shadow under the car and the far too white "sunlight" coming from two different directions (front and rear where the flashes obviously were). The backing is way too overdone for my taste too, too much fake blurring.

The bottom one's a nicer shot. Was that actually stationary as well? can't quite tell but its a much nicer photo.

    Nice looking car

shadow under the front overhang doesn't match the angle of the rear underneath shadow not to mention the shadow lines are far to sharp

Because there's more than one light source in a studio shoot
