I have brake pipes that require replacement due to corrosion.Is this something i should leave Vauxhall to do as i don't know now to go about it doing it myself and the problems i may face when trying to fill and bleed the brakes.

Unless you got money to burn, I wouldnt go to Vauxhall, any good garage will do them far cheaper if you dont feel capable of doing yourself.
What brake fluid must i ensure the system is filled with.
It will normally be on the fluid cap, either Dot 3 or Dot 4, may also be in the handbook
Looked for brake fluid spec in service booklet and says nothing.Still need to look on top of cap tomorrow.
Are there things i should do and know about before removing brake lines,replacing and bleeded the system what with the ABS.
It's not a job I'd recommended doing if your un sure mate. As problems on brakes isn't something you want to risk.
The fluid required is dot 4.
If you are going to do it. Do 1 pipe at time as more likely to remember pipe route.
New copper pipe is cheap enough. Remember to keep the bents in the pipe smooth.
But unless you no someone with brake flaring tool. Then buy time you've bought that, bought pipe and unions.
Ya may aswel pay garage to do it. Idependent garage should do it in couple of hours
Don't think i'll have a problem removing and making up new pipes,have done it but not for some time.
Is their any good hints/tips when it comes to bleeding with the ABS.
just dont start the car engine until been bleed, ie bleed them with out servo assistance.
probably worth getting an eezi bleed kit makes bleeding ten times quicker and easier
Thanks Critch for the info.Can you help with the bleeding procedure starting with which wheel.
Bleed the brake that has the longest run of pipework first, would be one of the rear brake pipes. Then the other rear brake, then the longest pipe run front brake and finally the last brake.
