Not heard one good thing about then tbh.

You need to be moving for it to sense the object.. and anecdotally, rain interferes with it, and not good picking up hedges etc.

Ultrasonic off eBay is the way to go. I also looked at the ones that have sensors in a number plate surround, so no drilling. Not sure it would for though

That sensor is a joke....It will work some how but i would classify it into rubbish bin. Rev. Camera is better.

I've heard of a 'hidden' parking sensor kit which fits behind the bumper - if that's what you mean? If it is, it's basically a strip/tape which sticks to the inside of the bumper opposed to drilling holes and fitting sensors. Not sure how it works, or if it's any good, but if it is any good - why aren't car manufacturers fitting it as standard???

A few people on the FFOC had this fitted. One member in particular sung it's praises, but to be honest, I wouldn't trust it at all.

It was fitted to my preface Signum when I purchased it ... Never had an issue with it in the 18+ months I owned it ... Worked all the time and worked exactly the same as factory fit without the holes in the bumpers

0-Large smile ......every time it's driven

I just got the RAC reversesafe parking aid which is the metal strip that sticks behind the bumper, £40 off groupon instead of £120 thought it was worth a punt. All I need to do is fit it. Anyone know how to remove a rear bumper off an estate?
