Default Worse customer service i have ever received from the stealers

Yesterday i have popped into my local stealers (Evans Halshaw) to buy some replacement undertray screws and spray paint & lacquer, but they didnt have any so they had to order me some from another branch, and pop back in tomorrow to collect and pay.

Tomorrow has come (Today), so i popped back in the stealers, as i entered the showroom i saw the guy who dealt with me yesterday chatting to his colleague, so i thought to myself i wait, and even the girls in reception shouted him to deal with me as he was walking off, so i waited for at least 10 minutes before he returned, the girls did have a go at him saying customer has been waiting for ages, i stayed cool, he went in the back and got my items out, when he returned back to the counter i said to him about the paint & lacquer, is that how big they are, he said yep, i said it should be about 300ml, he replied you asked for touchup yesterday, i responded no i asked for paint & lacquer, then he replied i can order you the paint, but you did say you wanted some touchup paint & lacquer, anyway i argued back, and he still continue to argue with me believing he is right. Then i said you know what just forget it and i walked off, as i was walking off he did not even to attempt to apologies, instead he said 'OK'.

I'm usually a cool guy, not loosing my temper, but that just made my blood boil, having to argue back at me.

Doesn't he know there are alot of people out there who are unemployed, and wants a job, perhaps he doesn't want to keep his job with that bad attitude and bad customer service like that.

i hate it in shops when you buy their products

and then they hand you your change without even looking at you .

That seems to happen at mostly privately / family owned shops .

But , i must say , the sainsbury's near me , has many till operators and most of them are friendly and start conversations with me that are not shopping related . That probably annoys the person waiting behind me though .

I'm sure i heard the reception girls shout 'Tom' if i remembered correctly, true, reason why we complain is not only it gets our frustration out but also get some kind of compensation in return. I was thinking of going straight to the head office, instead of speaking to the manager at the branch. Its not the first time i received bad service from that place.

speak to the manager first, as he will not wish you to go to head office with a complaint as it make him and his dealership look poor, he WILL sort you out, im sure...

You want to speak to the manager first mate as said above! He will put things right for you as he wont want a complaint report coming through from head office. If you go to head office first you will more that likly get worse service from them the next time you go in.
