    Default Power loss 1.8 club

hi ive owned a Vectra C 2003 1.8 club for about 6 months. it has been fine until this morning.

i set of normally (pulled out of parking space) then put my foot down n nothing happend so put the accelerator to the floor n still nothing happened. then suddenly it kicked it. got to end of road attempted to turn up hill but it wudnt go. the revs were on idle with my foot through the floor. once engine was warm it was normal. it only happens when the car has been stood for a while (about 7 hours)

does anyone have any advide what the problem is.

    thanks

Is their a fault on the fly by wire throttle pedal? Possibly a worn component that is making and breaking the connection.

Start by reading the fault codes. It's quite possible that that ECU was limiting throttle for some reason rather than it being a mechanical issue.

If it was intermittent I'd say have a look at the fuel filter, but the fact that it's ok when it's warm might suggest otherwise. What's the service history of the car?
