    Default XP2 Steering query...

Having gone from a standard SRI to the XP2... I've noticed that the height adjustment goes nowhere near as high as the standard SRI... anyone else noticed this?... I have it as high as it will go and the seat as low as it will go and it's not brilliant,.. could do with another half to one inch more on the adjustment

Silly question, but is their more padding on the seat base?

There is no difference apart from the actual steering wheel.

I know,.. its chunkier like the VXR wheel, but it certainly raises less than the standard (on mine anyway and I still have both cars to compare against)

Is the seat in the exact same position, one might be set higher possibly.

nope.. I am always at the lowest position it will go. The standard car wheel will raise very high so you can't read the dials, this XP only gets them bang in line with the upper hole in the steering wheel and no higher

    Lol.

I can't remember if mine adjusted less than the standard wheel but I don't recall it being an issue in terms of adjustment for anyone that drove the car.

I had this problem when I first bought my GSi, it turned out to be one of those small pens from argos in the gap stopping the steering wheel coming up to the top HTH
