Cheap mods for maximum effect

Right guys. As the title suggests I'm looking for cheap mods with maximum effect. I'm on a budget til my wedding has been and gone ;-)

So, thought about replacing sidelights, shark fin ariel, de-badge, paint brake calipers.... Small bits like that. I'd be grateful for anymore ideas or tips? I quite like the idea of carbon effect vinyl too if anyone has advice on this? My car is an 08 vec c Sri in black if this helps, well, when I collect it anyway!

I guess u mean like the reading light and door light rather than the dash backlights?

Yes mate thats what I mean. Very easy, very cheap and it looks great especially at night when you unlock the car and the interior illuminates in a crisp clean light.

Remove air box assembly, cut out bottom using air saw/hacksaw of bottom half, using air saw/hacksaw.
Give lovely induction noise when on full throttle.

I was going to sugest this "Free" mod too!



Cut? Its just pops out if you use enough force??? (mine did still have the part to put back in )

There are plenty of cheap mods paiting the calipers can add a whole new effect to the looks too.

Its just about having time to do them.
