When the car is serviced in May I will be taking out the VX spark plugs (<10k on them) and replacing with those from the Saab 93 bio power.
Are these Saab plugs the same ones that are in the veccy bio power or different? Any ideas folks

Dunno about the veccy biopower, not familiar with it. Saab use them in their biofuel powered cars that we cannot get over here. We do not sell that fuel over here. They get great performance figured from the biofuel cars which use these plugs.
They do come in a gm box btw and have gm part number.

You can't use then on a standard car, can you?
Supposedly they only benefit cars running about 230bhp or more. I've had them in mine for a while now (running about 215 ish) and to be honest if anything it made it less responsive, am switching back to standard Vx plugs (already got them sat waiting to go in).

hmmm interesting comments Ian, I think Nige is running them in his car.
The VX ones appear to be fine - however mine have done less than 10k and i rarely drive hard.
I might wait to see what figurs I get at the WM RR meet before changing - my service is due a month after the RR.
i doubt they give you much performance but they are cheaper and harder wearing than the using platinum factory plugs. I also have a set of these and occasionally i swap them over, can't say if i noticed a difference but i did muller a set of Denso Iridiums but that may have been my kanckered coils that killed them or they knackered my coils.. They were recommended by Neo's, Nick said they used them in there race car and that was good enough for me..
Aye i knew they were for higher powered cars, just wondered if they could be fitted to normal cars too. Doesn't affect me as i'm fitting new plugs on sunday, so more curiosity..

i think they take more of a beating than the standard plugs do
They're designed to run hotter I believe too as bio fuel does, but that suits because higher tuned engines generally do.
