    Default MPG something wrong

Ok think my car is sick but cant find whats wrong. Ive been getting very low mpg for a few. Months. I normally get around 28ish average. Ive not changed driving habits or fuel etc. I have just done a calculation and im only getting 20.6 mpg thats with some motorway but mainly town. But as said no change since getting 28.
It had a main service 4 weeks ago and has an oil change every 4 months. New filters, plugs. Brake pads, discs etc all in the last few months.

    Its a 2006 2.2 direct 16v with 50k on the clock. Any ideas guys n gals ????

Cold weather has a big effect, but not normally that much. How quickly does it heat up?

I would say it takes about 2-3 miles of 40mph driving. This morning first job was only 3 miles away and when I got there it was at about 80.... It always sits at 90 unless I have full heat on with fans on full it will go down to 80-85........

I have done all the above and after 4/5 weeks and 5 tanks of fuel still no difference....

Use to get from 320-400 miles per tank, But im only getting 260-280 for the past 6/7 weeks....

Are you getting your fuel from a different garage? Some people find "super market" fuel can have an effect on their economy.

I wonder if it is now over fueling and has a duff sensor?

Same garage ive been using for Past 2 years buddy.....Its wierd when I went to fill up about 7 weeks ago I had done 342 miles, fill up took 58 litres so returned 26/27 mpg. straight after fill up I reset all the readings on the computer, normally the range would say between 320-360 after fill up. But when I filled up that 7 weeks ago the Range said 210.....After fill up today it said 270 so its slowley gone up, but still only 20.6 mpg since that then......Not the norm 26+

Forgot to say its an auto
