Heated seat question
Having fitted the leather, ive just had the switches delivered and plugged in, all light up with ignition and turned on, i was sitting on drivers and tht seat warmed up, turned on passenger and not much seemed to happen, does the heated seats work in connection with seat occupancy? Many thanks
Can't you sit in it and try it? You would have found out by now

I find my heated seats get warm when not turned on, but appear to get warmer when you sit in them
Didnt have a great deal of time to 'sit' about lol, not with a littlun yankin at ya ankles lol, will see if i can drive to work tomoz on the othe side lol
Just a quicky on the heated seats. I assume that switch position 1 is the lowest setting and 3 the highest and if they are not working as they should have they a fault code?
right 1low 3 high . they both should work ,i take it you have the engine running when you have them on . i find that mine take a couple off mins to start getting warm ,then i have to turn mine off as they get to warm for me . . im lucky that ive now got them in the backand my daughter and friend both get warm bums on the way to collage . the back ones dont have 1-3 they just have on /off , also they dont get as warm as the front ones do . khalid
i thought much the same when i had mine done, put the passenger side on and with just putting a hand on it to see if it warmed up didnt give off much heat.
When you sit in it, the foam compresses and the heat from the pad then quickly passes through making it toasty!
3 settings???? Im sure my Elite had 5 settings!!
My elite has 3 settings
Don't forget the half settings which give you 6 (might be 5 as I can't remeber if there is a first 1/2) well its does on mine.
