    Default Recommend a wax that's easy and quick to apply for a novice

    As title say, need summat that's easy and quick to use that will preempt protect the car.

    Cars silver if that makes a difference?

    Collinite is easy to work with and reasonably cheap to buy

    It really depends on how far you want it to go a wax is usually a last stage product if applied in isolation it will work but not give of it's best, do you want a two or three stage regime or is this just a quick protection polish you are after?

    Mine's silver, I use Megs #16, first wax I've ever used. I know others say Collinite is very good

    Collinate is very good easy on easy off and ya get a nice shine and very good beading

    or go for a glaze , poorboys white diamond is very good on silver , or sealant zaino z2 is also very good on a silver car . get the prep right and anything ( even just a cheap wax will make it shine ) khalid

    the vectra has gone , but not far away so ill still see it form time to time

    What to you mean by a 2 or 3 stage?Don't mind doing the odd clay and polish?

    I used to use MER cream on my Stag, easy to apply, comes off quickly, lovely finish!

    i take it Derek mines . something like
    1 wash
    2 clay
    3 polish
    4 wax
    as said if you went glaze then it would just be
    1 wash
    2 clay
    3 glaze job done

    will be doing a at least 7 stages this week on mine as im striping off the zaino and starting again khalid
