Default Connecting a MP3 or iPod

I saw this How2 & got quite excited that I'd be able to plug my iPod into my CD70 unit but.......

    http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=143974

Where do I locate the AUX IN socket mentioned in the thread; looks like it should be in the cubby under the CC controls but there doesn't appear to be one????

Do I have a more basic spec car perhaps than the one in the How2, or perhaps a more basic CD70 unit?

    I have a 2007 V6 Turbo Elite with CD70 & satnav.

OK thanks, looks like I'll have to research a good FM transmitter.

If your gonna spend the money on an fm modulator , youd be better off adding a bit of money and getting a mki9100/9200 parrot fitted ,
You get the hands free as well as iPod connectinity

Thanks Mark; just checked them out & looks a good idea.

I use an aftermarket Sony headunit in my Vivaro with a MP3 input & it handles everything off my iPhone, even handsfree calls via speakers in the van & all for £60!

If only the Vx was that simple!

Got a price for supply & installation of a MKi9200 kit; £299 - does this sound OK or too much?

Way to much. The kit is less than £150 and is easy to fit. There is a guide on here
