London hotels..

We're looking to have a long weekend in london in sept/oct - just checked out hotel prices and OMG they have gone up! We have been lots of times and always found reasonably priced accommodation - this time i might need you guys help

Something within easy reach of the sights but it doesnt have to be in the centre of town, no real set budget but something reasonable would be great. Checked all the usual budget chains but can't find anything reasonable for 3 nights...if its too dear we're going to spend our cash abroad

Hi mate, I just stayed 3 nights in the Guoman tower hotel at tower bridge. Nice gaff. Payed £68 per night. Found them on last minute.com but booked on their own website. Right outside Tower Bridge and 5 mins to Tower Hill tube station on the circle line. Would recommend.

Farnborough is on the mainline to waterloo, and i might even pick ya up from the airpory

There are plenty of travel lodges here and the fast train is 35 mins only

We stay in the travel lodge in the Docklands (Rooms from £19 a night) and get a day travel pass for £8.

Na it doesn't have to be centre of town Paul, but if I'm honest i would prefer it. My aunt lives in MK, so we could stay there if we wanted for f'all but not sure i can be arsed with the trains in and out - really appreciate the offer though buddy...you must be happy now you lot are 4 points clear..

Cheers Lee, last time down we stayed at a premier inn and it was pretty cheap (£60ish per night) but the time previous we stayed at the travelodge @ liverpool st and again it was cheap..

YIKES! Just checked out the Tower Hotel. Not cheap end of september. :/

you cannot beat the county hall buildings which is located right next to the "london eye" for location and value

there a premier inn hotel and we always use them.
