    Default headlamp switch pinout

i have just fitted fogs to the front of my vec c which dont work aftter programming so im going to hard wire them in through a relay and fuse but im going to try and do it from the front fog pinout off the headlamp switch which i think is pin 8 but would be nice if someone could confirm and if anyone thinks its possible

i will use the wire before it goes into the bcm
this is the part i cant get into to program for some reason

I don't think the wire is 'switched' in the conventional way. It is a pulse switch, so going via a relay will only work whilst you have the button depressed. Unless you intend on fitting a manual on / off switch to operate the relay, or some electronics to change the pulse to an on / off signal.

Can't help you on the pinout though.

You could wire it up using a pulsed input to switch on and off....

It wouldn't be too difficult, and would use commonly available parts that aren't expensive, eg relays..

did you wire the front fogs to the wiring diagram as factory as the live from
each foglamp go into the multiplug under the fusebox to 2 seperate specific
pinouts and the other wire from each foglamp goes to earth.

soon as this is done then tech2 and they shud work via the headlamp switch
