    Default HID headlamp adjusters

I have been reading on here for the need to have "auto height adjusting" in order for them to be legal.

My question is this, those cars that have HID's fitted as standard, do they still have the manual height adjusters on the dash board? Normally numbered 1-4 for use whn you have loaded the car.

If so, why? As the auto adjusters should re-adjust the level of the headlights depending on the load in the car.

This may be why MOT stations are unsure about what is actually fitted to a car.

No if OEM xenon you dont have the manual adjuster.

In denmark its quite simpel.. if you have the manual adjuster they will fail you.. even if its not working. and you have Xenon/HID on the car.

    Default

As above the car controls the level of the headlights based on the load readings from the 2 level sensors. Not driver adjustable like normal headlights.
