Light switch, sensor behind the mirror, loom and new windscreen.

Plus if you dont have the dimming mirror you need the dimming mirror and surround.

Seems a lot of expense and time for something of a gimmicky 'feature'.

I turn a switch on the dash and the lights automatically come on, at the setting I have decided. Seems to work quite well.

May sound like a gimmick, but then you also get to have other options

    autoclosing of windows when rain
Dimming rearview mirriro (and possible dimming drivers door mirror)
    Rainsensor
Light in the varius places in the roof of the car.. (front and rear reading light, light in sunscreens, and the buttons if you have upgraded to the 3 button lights at the front)

I've got the map reading lights, rear cabin light, vanity mirror lights. I just see the other things as fairly pointless. I know when it is raining and can operate the wipers. Auto closing windows if it rains is a bit pointless, as who leaves the windows open when they leave their car?

All a bit gimmicky and pointless 'features' IMO.

IMHO auto lights can be dangerous.

There is an avenue of trees I have to go through each day on the way to work. Just after these trees is a side road leading onto the main road that I am on. Just as I come out of the trees the sensor decides to switch my lights on, then the sensor realises it's actually daylight and turns them off again. Meanwhile the car waiting at the junction thinks I've flashed my lights at him to pull out. Resulting in me having to slam the brakes on.

My previous car had them and 9 times out of ten they didn't come on when I wanted and I had to turn them on. Same with auto wipes either didst come on or didn't go off. I do miss auto dim mirror tho.
