Default How to get a smooth ride?

    Hey everyone,

Well it's getting to the point where i'm actually getting a bit fed up of feeling every bump in the road and feeling it in my bones!

So how is everyone's ride? What have you got to make it glide effortlessly over bumps n stuff?

    Lew

That could well be the problem; lowering on shorter springs can be detrimental to the ride, especially if the shocks were not changed to match the springs.

However, the ride on standard suspension is not great IMHO. it can be quite crashy over potholed/repaired roads. Compared the ride on the last model Passat & it is so much smoother than the Vectra.

I'm sure there must be a good spring & shock combo out there somewhere, it's just a question of finding the right one.

Put design shocks and springs on. If you want comfort the SRI is probably not the best choice (I find it a great compromise however) ... lowering any car will only add to the discomfort

Are the design and sri not the same set up? I'm almost sure they are! I could be wrong though.

I have design shocks with eibach springs. firm and smooth much Better than with the design/sri springs. Its nice n low too.
