If it doesn't stay on, I wouldn't have thought it would be critical, but only way to know is to get the codes read

at a stealer, never been there for it but most charge minimum of an hours labour (£60ish), someone on here may live nearby and be able to do it, local mechanic with the right kit would probably be around £20-£30ish there is apparently a way of getting some fault codes to flash up on one of the displays, but I'm not sure how though

Spanner light comes on, goes off - intermitent fault somewhere in the car, read and stored. Not critical unless it stays on or comes on whilst driving. I think this is what it says in the handbook .

If it does not stay lit just forget about it, it will cancel itself after something like 25? starts. I am sure someone will give the correct figure for that.
