Private Plate

I'm going to be taking my private number plate off The Beast later, just wondered if anyone reckons it has much/any value? I'm sure I read somewhere that the DVLA have stopped issuing plates with 666 in them now.

It has lost it's sentimental value to me now as it was bought as a b/day pressie by the wife...stood for Kay's beast Neil Peter C-----. So not sure if I want to keep it or not now.

Opinions please...flog it? Put it on the new car? Keep it on retention?

i'd enquire with the DVLA as to how much they would buy it back off you....if that's what they do.

as you said, if they stopped issuing 666 plates then you might be surprised as to how much its worth.

if it were me, i'd be looking to get rid of it was bought by an ex....just my opinion though.

sell it and get some rims for the astra!

they wont buy it back you can give it them back for free ..but who wants todo that .......beeing it is a 666 it will sell to them weirdo's that like that kinda thing ...............keep it on retention 6mnths then decide ...but selling is the only good option...........

Plate now on retention. Similar plates seem to be worth around £500 on New Reg. TBH I don't think i'd part with it for less than £1k whether it's worth it or not. At the end of the day it's still got my initials on it and a cool number. I'll just have to get over the rest of it
