2.2 Direct SRi Springs

Hi All

I have suffered yet another spring breakage so am thinking of upgrading.

So here is my question. I have the SRi and from what I can read on here it is lowered by 15mm over a normal car.

I do not want to lower the car much over standard, but if I was to buy -30mm is this 30mm less than standard or less than SRi spec?

Also what would be your recommendations, monroe, spax, pi, coilovers, etc?

30mm lowering springs will be 30mm for a normal vec. So will only lower ur car by an additional 15mm to what it is now. I had the same prob so bout 35mm apex springs and it just sits nice...not in ya face noticiable... but i wish now id have gone a tad lower.

Did the apex springs change the ride and handling any?

90 quid for springs 70 to have them fit... all in all 160, standard springs are expensive and poor quality so no point replacing with standard
