I assume you mean a Shell Drivers Club (reward) card, rather than a fuel card

£10.00 gift voucher = 2000 points / litres, which works out at about £2800 in fuel
and as the price of fuel rises works out as less and less

Tesco clubcard remains at £10.00 = 1000 points or £1000 in fuel
Don't even get me started on nectar points

I only use Shell when I can't find the cheapest option

Yeah, I've got one of them cards, too. It does take ages to build up but at least it's something, usually you get bonus point coupons, too. Worth the wee bit extra at Shell, though - at the risk of the fuel you get at Tesco and other supermarkets is inferior and contaminated. Wouldn't put any of it in my wee baby!!

Ive been using Sainsburys diesel in my car since i have had it.. Unless im away and cant find one it runs lovely.. Also when i did put shell in i got less miles on a tank cant work it out and also did not drive or sound any different.. In my old petrol i used shell all the time until they changed to this new fuel saver fuel which actually in my experience made my car worse on petrol so went onto jet and never looked back.. But for my cdti Sainsburys is my fuel of choice ..

Did you leave out a few decimal points in your amount of fuel you get as a reward, or are you talking about how much fuel you have to buy to get the rewards???
Assuming the latter, thats a big difference between Shell and Tesco.
I have been loyal to Shell, but maybe I should try BP as there is one closer to home.
Or there is a Murco on the way to/from work, but it is a bit dearer.

Think hes on about £1 a point so £1000 quid in fuel is worth £10 voucher..

cough, Sainburys fuel is almost identical to BP fuel when you compare the safety data sheets, even the key numbers are the same

No, there are no decimal points in the wrong place, to receive the same £10 reward that is how much fuel or money you need to spend
Tesco has the best return rate at 1%
    Shell is about 0.35%
BP (nectar points) isn't much better at 0.5%
