    Default Contemplating a change.

    I've had 2 Vectra's over the past few years. A 55 plate 2.2 SRI and now a 04 1.9 CDTi SRI.
Loved them both but feeling like a change to a facelift.
I was looking at a 57 Plate 2.0T XP2 for about 6 grand with reasonably low miles... Car looks very nice and well looked after.
What are these engines like? Is this a good choice or is it one to steer away from?
Any advice would be grateful before I take the plunge

Very slim chance - but is that the silver one on eBay by any chance you have in mind?

Not that specific one but I have seen that one too. The one on ebay looks very tidy. But no it was at a local traders forecourt.

My advice is simple - find a good 2.0T and buy it. I've owned one for 5 years and its been faultless , also there is a decent amount of tuning available now with various companies which will make the car a bit of a sleeper..

I've seen that one on ebay, and my first thought was "what's wrong with that then?"
Or am I just being unecessarily suspicious?

Ok so are we talking this one:
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1306290887...84.m1423.l2649

If so its chrisvectra's old car before he got the VXR..
    http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=150623

It is a stunning car and Chris has looked after it VERY well.. I serviced it on its last service and its good condition. Chris changed many suspension components as stated.

My issue is the price the guy has it up for IMO... But its still a whole lot of car..

If this is the car previously N222 CJH isn't it a Cat-something repair, and isn't the seller legally required to mention that in any advert?
