Got a call from arnold clark VX there about my mot.

Need new rear disks and pads, nearside rear suspension spring.

this aswell as my MOT/Service and brake fluid change comming to £320

does this sound okay to you guys?

I think that sounds ok to me if you're getting all the following done for £320:

• Service
• MOT
• Rear disks and pads
• brake fluid
• SPring replacement

I paid £100 for a spring replacing on a clio last year.....

The catch is that it's Arnold Shark - I think they run the Kwik Fit training academy.....

Picking it up tomowrrow, they gave me a fantastic wee 61plate corsa 1.3 ecoflex diesel (75ps) for today for free only 297miles on the clock, Ohhh the shame

I would recommend you add the offside rear spring as well, should really be replaced in pairs across the car

Agreed, that is what I often do, depending on job
For the service parts I have the date added to them, so when they are removed this confirms this has been completed
Not so easy for a brake fluid change
However the oil change is easy enough to check
Finally the rear springs, brake pads and discs will be very easy to check

You can ask the service department to show you each part that has been changed, this is usually done on the MoT ramp so you may have to wait
