Problem with heater

Hi all

i am having problems with heater resisters.

my first one lasted 4 years, but the second one i put in only lasted about 6 months. i dont really know what the problem is. can anyone help??

Check the scuttle drain in front of the pollen filter for blockage

checked, all clear, an dry. fan works on 4 so i know its the resister, but it shouldnt keep going

how stiff should the fan be behind the pollen filter

It should spin freely

A squirt of wd40 down the moror shaft (throigh pollen filter) sorted mine out when it started sticking

lol woops mines a bit stiff haha, that must be burning the resistor out

Try 3-in-1 oil too. If not, it'll be a strip down of the motor, or replacement
