    Probably better off talking to a Rally forum mate.
    My mate is into Rallying and converted a Fiesta to 4x4 rally spec using the knowledge of others.
    If anyones done it, the Rally guys surely have and will tell you exactly what you need, how hard and how much.

    Not sure on that Benny, I just remember an article and a picture of it on the "Ring", the wheelbase looked wrong for the Vectra, cant remember if it was too long or short

    I got a feeling it will be a lengthy process, especially if a new tunnel had to be fabricated. There's a guy over on mk3oc building a rwd Astra. He's had to cut bits off a Sierra just to fit the gearbox in!

    The biggest problem is that my car is a daily driver, if we had a backup car then I'd probably go ahead with it and just use my dad's driveway.

    Happens most weeks . Be best just buying a 9-3x. (and before someone says it im not missing the point. I do realise this could be said for most modifications.)

    Doing a 4x4 conversion for rallying is much different than for legal road use.

    I would be amazed if there are no legal implications of chopping half the car off and manufacturing a driveshaft tunnel, adding hardpoints for rear drive system and mounting, etc etc.

    Personally, I think it would be a mammoth job to do and to do properly, safely and is insurable. Maybe a single vehicle approval would be required by the VCA.
