boost pressure sensor

Hi all, got ab problem with my y30dt I have replaced the boost sensor and am now getting the fault "boost pressure sensor high output" have any of you came across this problem? and what the solution is car kicking into limp mode under acceleration. Any help would be appreciated

Try to get out the ECU, open it and check all bad contacts !

Fault code P0105-3 by chance?

Disconnect the battery for half an hour that should sort it

What's the numbers of the fault code Ian?

Does it come out of limp mode when you're not accelerating and is the spanner light and EML light on?

What readings are you getting from sensor? Ie voltage and what boost is it saying? Was sensor genuine?

Hi guys, had the car at mates garage today I did not write the code down but think it was the p0105-3 but not 100% sure and yes the sensor came from stealers cost me £76! I have no eml light but have the spanner the car only seems to do this on accelerating to around 75mph and when I switch off and restart it goes back to normal running

Ian - so you boot it and the spanner light comes on but does it stay on when you stop and let the engine tickover? As an aside, before you switch the engine off after going into limp mode, what's the tickover speed - 740rpm (normalish) or 1000rpm.

Light out when restarted tick over before turning off 1000rpm on restart around 800
