    Default Loosing oil

    Hi,
My Vectra is loosing oil, I'm getting a small patch under the car., every couple of weeks I end up topping up as it's on the bottom of the dipstick.
I had a look at it today, and took off the engine cover and found this
    Attachment 50590
I took out the sparkplugs and the second one I pulled out came out covered in oil
    Attachment 50591
Here is a closeup of it
    Attachment 50592
The hole where the plug goes is oily as shown in the image below

I had a look underneath and it's covered in oil

Also the car seems to be loosing coolant, I've checked the oil cap and there's no mayo.

Any suggestions where I should look next? As I want to try to stop something major happening as I've already had a failed waterpump that caused skipped timing and that caused most of the valves to be replaced. I was lucky as the pump was only changed in march and the job to fix it was done on parts warranty.

    Thumbs up

Thanks, replaced the cam cover gasket and now it's not leaking. Also the garage that replaced the waterpump and valves didn't put the cam cover back on properly. A couple of the bolts were sitting proud of the cover and not holding it down, i put them back on correctly.
Now it doesn't leak any more!

    Thanks for your help.

    Matt
