    Manual - more responsive... more fun.... lower weight.... lower emissions..... higher mpg (just) ..... less to go wrong..... cheaper to fix if it does go wrong.

    38mpg? is that an auto? is that sat at 60 on the motorway? I get about 30 on the motorway and average 17mpg around town (though my car only does short journeys most days, it gets better once properly warm)

    I spent 10k just on fuel last year so its certainly not the 280 quid tax disc i'd be complaining about, worth every penny i spent last year despite the car only being worth 400 quid lol (what i got offered part ex on a vxr at vauxhall dealer)

    Thats a mighty fine time for an auto given the vxr in standard guise does it in like 6.1 secs. I thought the auto v6 turbo veccy was around the 6.8 secs to 60 myself.

    was thinking with the stuff done to mine and the power at or around exactly that of a 2.8V6T but being lighter if his is doing sub 6, mine must be like sub 5 lol
