Just out of interest, should I be able to wheel spin my 57 plate 1.9 CDTI 150 up to redline in 1st 2nd and 3rd on a wet road without TC kicking in?

Yes, you dont have TC. It got dropped as a standard option on Facelifts unless to have a V6 or ESP

Yep done it a fue times only prob with it when I do it in second goes to the left so its like **** lift off even tho steering away take its due to front wheel drive
