Default Headlight Refurb Before & After

    Hey everyone,

Well I shown my before and after pics on another thread of mine, but thought I'd create a new thread which is more 'on topic' lol

Well I purchased a 3M Headlight Restoration Kit which was £24.00...

    Here it is:

So yesterday I decided to give it bash... it says on the instructions to use a household drill between 1200-1600 rpm. I used a 1800 rpm drill which still worked... but I probably would recommended to use something within 1200-1600 as sometime my drill took me on a lil journey lol.

Anyway... this is what my headlights looked like before (They don't look that bad in the pictures... but believe me... they did lol)

So you get an idea they look tatty, and have the yellowy haze over them.

    After...

    So my thoughts.

I'm really impressed with how they turned out, however I think I would have got even better results if I used a slower drill... or even if I done it by hand.

It took me just over an hour. I started around 3.45 getting prepared and started around 3.55 and finished just gone 5pm.

But yes, I would recommend this kit to anyone who needs to refurb their lights the quick and easy way... but like I said, just make sure you do use a slower drill and take your time to get great results.

    So what you think?

    That looks good fella.

Where did you get the kit from and how much did it cost if you don't mind me asking?
