Drivers side door problem

Having abit of a problem guys, when i get in my car shut the door its still saying the door is open and all interior lights are still on so im having to drive round with the interior lights on and when im having to go somewhere i have to disconnect the battery cos the car locks then unlocks itself straight away its becoming a pain in arse so any1 wi any ideas i wud be grateful thanks.

I believe the sensor is in the lock mechanism it's self

Try squirting wd40 on the lock mechanism.

The sensor is on the lock. Just A's Well replace it now

Do ya know how much these roughly r?

50£ or just about. that was what i paid for a replacement for mine.

have u try moveing the d plate (think that watt it call) the one with the black plastic sleeve that the lock go's in to?
