when replacing the water pump how much coolant will i need to buy to put back in ??

iirc I think they hold around 8 litres, give or take, and I would do a 50/50 mix. So I'd say 4 litres.

If your not sure then buy the premix stuff and just fill it up.

id just drop the lot and do a complete change, rather than just 'top 'up'. I use two 1 ltr bottles of coolant then top up with water.
