    Question a bit more bhp

hi all, i was looking on ebay at the selection of tuning box's they have for the 120bhp cdti and they all seem to be in the £80 bracket, does anyone know if they r worth the money and give u the gains they promise?

I asked about this a while ago for my 150 and was told not to get due to it just sends loads of fuel into the injectors and there more hassle than they are worth

If you want more power, go for a remap I went from 120bhp to 145 and torque from 290 to 370nm and so far did 20k without troubles

tuning boxes are ok but only trick the ecu into overfueling giving you the extra power, they are not the best idea but short term fun is great, a remap is deffo the best thing to have and what with them strarting at around £200.00 a much safer option for a few ££s more

If your going to go for a tuning box have a look at dtuk boxes, I have one fitted to my 150 and am more than happy with it, (CRD-T)

If you go the remap route, get it from a reputable company, have heard of a few remap horror stories.
