How hard is it to find a NOVA

Been looking for a while now with no luck...

Got to be blue, got to be an SRI, got to be standard preferably of a J or a K plate and have no rot on it (or had work done on it like new wings, seam welded, etc)

As rare as hens teeth these days to find.

Oh well... One day I will find a good example...

Good luck with that. Your requirements may be a bit too specifec! I want a black Cavalier Gsi 2000 in original condition. Same problem, there aren't many about full stiop let alone ones worth having. I'd like to have the time, skill and money to resurect one, but haven't got either one of those things at the moment! And if I were you I'd go for a red GTE! much nicer!

Rocking horse poo in good nick. You'll have to get a good rust free one and respray it to your needs or find on in the spec you want and rebuild it.

But remember parts are NLS and tracking them down is a bit of a pain in the ass...

I've got one as a long term project.

Theres one at my uni, Blue nova sri. looks mint. Its been modded though.

I have a blue SRi as one of my first cars and I loved it ... Right before I killed in by barrel rolling it through a fence and half a field... (I was young and dum).

Anyway... I would love one again...

I figured finding one was next to impossible so planned on purchasing one to be a project car. The down side is i have no garage to keep in it these days as the wife made me convert it to a room...

I suppose if i was rebuilding it i could always find a 1.6 engine from a corsa B (Gsi) or the 1.8 out of the Crosa C and fit that... Good redtop's are so rare these days to find otherwise i would have gone that path instead!

I (well my wife bought it) was lucky to be contacted about a local Nova GSi that had one owner from new and he started to struggle to drive it due to ill health.







It's still (and will stay) rather standard (and red).
