Why is it some people just don't understand how much we look after our cars?!

My other half hits her bag up against my doors whilst getting in, shuts her umbrella whilst sat in the car which again hits the paintwork and rests her bag on the boot lid and roof. Every time I tell her about it all she says is well its not something you think about when getting in or out the car, and the best one is "you have to shut the umbrella when you get in the car otherwise it ruins my hair" :@:@ when I said well then you pay the £100+ tore spray it she wasn't so keenand just said it'll only get scratched any way! But nobody else who I have in my car does damage to the paintwork just her :@

    Anyway rant over now

I know the feeling mate... couple ex girlfriends were exactly the same, wound me up good and proper, to them a car is just a lump of metal with 4 wheels on it that goes BEEP BEEP!

Another thing that go on my nerves was that they think they can get away with it seeing as they are the 'girlfriend' and that we'll let them off easy... erm NO! But if it was the other way round, we wouldnt hear the end of it!

Luckily my girlfriend now understands how hard I work on my car to get it the way it is now, so she pays that little extra attention when near it or getting in.

Worse thing she's done is write on my windscreen when it was a bit frosty... but I can live with that lol

One of the advantages of having a wife who spends as much time as me (if not more in cleaning) working on the car. Amy's more careful with it than I am

I feel your pain. My problem is our 3 rascals,Want a sweet? You will find one stuck to the back seat. Ride their bikes round the car the whole street must think I'm loopy. All I do is shout "get away from the car NOW"

Always follow the three golden rules...

    1. Dont let the missus drive the car
    2. Dont let the kids eat in the car
    3. Don't park next to door-dinkers at asda (generally anything with 7 seats and full of kids)

    Happy days haha

My missus pics her hair and leaves it on the passenger footwell... grrrrrr. She has a Fiesta ST and inside it's like driving around in a bin bag.. I go nuts at her, but its her car. The inside of my car is spotless 24/7 lol.
My daughter sits in the back with her feet firmly pressed on the back of the seats leaving dirt and if she's allowed in the front she kicks or rests her feet on the glove box.. drives me nuts. After a few tellings off she's started not too. The new one is while in the back seat in her booster her feet are just the right height to rest on the window winder and just crack the window open half an inch. Misting my car up nicely for the morning... Thanks Sophie... thanks very much... lol...
