    Default 150 injector problem

    ive bust the poppet valve stem wen removing injectors with the laser removal tool, my local so called diesel specialist wouldnt sell me them, cant find out on ebay, does anyone have any ideas where could purchase them????

    tried dealers, they just tried selling new injectors not very helpful,

    erm how have ya been messing with the poppet valves when removeing the injector ? you broken the rocker cover to ? ......or are you talking about something else and got the name wrong ? .............you got a pic

    not to sure about the name, i had to remove top off injector to screw the 2 sockets to pull injector out, to screw the internal socket on i had to remove a 'c' clip a fan shape part, spring, then use a laser tool to undo a hexagon shape nut but tool not long enough and snapped the stem wen undoing the nut, i can put pic on tomorow if anyone can help.. thanks lee

    the reason for takin injectors out, i had 5 broken camshaft followers due to inlet manifold change and water got into num 1 n 3 pots causing to hydraulic and snap followers, camshaft housing fine all back together , just need to fix injectors now

    Is it pictured in this here?

    If it's part of the injector assembly, then you may have to fork out for a new one. Used the above link to see if that's what you need since fiat and alfa use the same engine

    thanks for quick reply, its actualy inside the injector itself, thought you mite be able to buy a repair kit , ill post a pic tomorow, thanks

    If the injector is damaged in the way you describe, I have to ask is there any tar like stuff round the injector? If so the seal may have been leaking allowing oil and crap to mix. This can cause the injector to sit very tight and only real way of removing it is to take the head off again.
