    Default Split exhaust flexi

    Hi all,

Hope everyone has had a good xmas and new year. I am after a little advice, my flexi section is blowing, and i would like to buy one of those clamp on flexi sections instead of a new full piece with CAT. Does anybody know the dimensions required for my car, a 2005 vectra sri 1.9 cdti? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Jay

any decent exhaust fabricator will chop & weld a new one for about £70 ish... or you can buy them from a decent motor factor either weld in yourself or clamp on, can't remember the dimension though as i had this done on my old dti

www.onlineautomotive.co.uk has the complete pipe and flexy section, I bought one and fitted it in less time than it would have taken to drive to my local exhaust place

I got a clamp in flexi from MIJ via ebay, the part itself was very good quality but keeping it from blowing was a pain in the rear. I ended up getting it welded in.

    Hi Rushy,

Which size did you buy to fit? Anybody know the size required for the 1.9 cdti exhaust without me trying to squeeze under the car? A mate of mine said I could use his tooling and ramps to sort flexi. As a added bonus, he aid he could weld it in for me once i've cut the old one out. So decision changed i'll do it myself (with mates help).

    Cheers

I had the same problem, measured the pipe and got a replacement flexi from MIJ and had it welded in, they have plenty of different sizes on their eBay Shop
