    Default brakes and pads

    seen a full set of brakes and pads front and back for 06 vectra 1.9 cdti sri for £ 86.

    is this too cheap ? Do you get what you pay for or are they all the same ?

    any advice appreciated

    Also is it worth getting a rewind tool cube or just get the proper set ?

    If you become a full member you will get Vauxhall trade club and disc and pads are £75
    For my 314s so will be cheaper for yours

    Are you doing the rears? Won't need a rewind tool unless doing the rears.

    And tbh your better buying the set. Can get them for about 30 quid on eBay

    yea was thinking of doing the rears seen as i can get new pads and discs for the whole car for £ 86.

    Yea seen the sets on eby for around £ 22.

    O yeah my bad didn't read it properly.

    I've read cheaper pads tend to rattle in the rear calipers

    I paid £66 for the front disc & pad kit from my local dealer last week. They quoted me £66 in the phone although when I went to collect them the guy tried to charge me £91.00 !

    Mine were something like £88 from the dealer approx 8 months ago. I didn't have my Masterfit Service Clubcard at the time to get a discount on parts.
