Nightmare to reverse!

Hi everyone, just got my vectra 1.9 cdti sri this weekend. I love it. Cruise control (never had one before!) 6 speed.(had it once before!) Everything is great with it. (apart from one technical issue i have, which ive posted on the other page) One thing i cant get around is the REVERSING! My last car wasnt exactly a mini.( It was a e46 bmw 320d) but the Vectra C is a nightmare! I reverse in it like im still on a driving lesson! haha. The missus had to guide me to reverse park between 2 cars earlier today( and ive been reversing between the same 2 cars for the last 2 years!!!) Im hoping ill get used to the car or ill have to think about DIY reversing sensors! Anyone else struggled when they got their 1st vectra??

thats where park pilot comes in real handy lol ..

vectra without was a tad difficult as always careful not to kerb the 19" snowflakes .

Reversing sensors off fleabay fof 13 quid hour to fit

I think we all went through that - look at the amount of stuff on here about parking sensors. I fitted them and later had a rear-end shunt which disabled them but by then I'd got used to reversing it so I guess I'm saying it all seemed a bit daunting to start with but quickly got used to it.

Im hoping ill get the jist of reversing the limo. Otherwise ill be parking down the road, and walk home. haha

as said mate parking sensors are cheap enough, im sure you will get better though dude, i remember when i first got in my transit van... absolutly bricked myself lol

I find my signum far easier to reverse than my old vectra was

to the site i had to get used to reversing the vectra c i had a vectra b before a little easier. but i do use more of my side mirrors gives me more reason to use the electric mirrors.
