    Default Front Windows Dropping

I've come back to the car (07-plate CDTi 150) a few times recently after it's been parked up for a couple of hours and found both front windows either a few cm down or completely down. I'm pretty sure they were fully up when I locked the car with the remote. Any ideas on what could be causing that please ?

The battery on that remote is nearly flat, replace it
It is a safety feature in the event of a rogue setting transmission, to prevent animals being trapped inside whilst a replacement battery is installed or key obtained

You may have sat on the keys, if you hold the unlock button the windows go down. There is also another thing that if the car is unlocked via the fob but the door isnt opened the car re locks itself, so sit on the key, the windows open and the car unlocks.....a little later the car locks itself but the windows don't go up.

It's happened to me, just the front passenger side window though, and it's not the battery on mine as it's only a few months old. I reckoned it was a fault with the driver's door electric window switch, which obviously can open any of the 4 windows, it's been playing up of late and refusing to open the passenger window on occasions, or other times it opens the window when I tried to close it. Cleaned the contacts in the switch as per the How2, and no more mysteriously opening windows whilst the car is parked.

1 of 2 things ....your key button is poor / faulty and is sticking or you have sat on the key .......or accidentally pressed and held it ....

Other people have reported this same issue, coming back to the car to find both front windows down slightly
I then had it, three times one day, so replaced the battery
