    Default help fuel pump on 1.9cdti 150

    Need to change fuel pump or regulator on my vectra cos get code like fuel presure to low. so Im going to change fuel pump, regulator and monifold in same time. my fuel pump bosch number is
    0445010155 and I found on ebay cheap one witch number is 0445010128.
    What you thing is it going to fit on my engine or I need to found the same part number pump.

    Not wishing to offend But have done all basic checks first ie blocked fuel filter etc before changing the pump?

    Yeah cool. If filters ok. Theirs a small chance could be restriction in tank/ lines but only small.

    What's the difference in reading for actual pressure and demanded pressure?

    I didnt check the presure . But dont want to lose the pump on ebay witch is on auction . What about fuel regulator ??? Could be problem in here???

    Try removing the common rail sensors, clean with brake cleaner (put 2/3 inches in a tin/jug/jar) & swill the sensor around, There is also a sensor on the rear of the cdti pump, this is slightly fiddly to remove but i done mine ok with care, cleaning method as above, all seals can be re-used lubricate with oil slightly to aid re-fitting.

    Have you checked the in-tank fuel pump? In my 6 year experience I have had to replace 1 high pressure fule pump on 1,9 CDTI engine but about 7-8 in tank pumps. The in tank pump will not give out enough fuel pressure and thats why you get low fuel pressure trouble code.
