    i was thinking about not being allowed BBQ but most show organisers are fairly relaxed to be honest. They have more to worry about than a group of club members having a BBQ. Ive checked the rules again and the only mention of food is that it cant be sold on a stand without the permission of the show organisers. As we arent selling food, we should be ok but i can double check with the show guy tommorrow, or we can just go ahead anyway.

    heres the rules RULES

    If we are positioned on the track side, theres always a good bit of grass behind our show area to the trackside fence anyway. Even if not, we have room for 19 cars and a small gazebo, yet only bringing 11 or 12 so we should be able to create a social area away from the cars.

    Andrew, I'll chuck £20 into the pot for grub for everyone, if you just bring a mixed selection from your list.
    If other people want to add to this and tell andrew what they would like, he could maybe bag it all up indiviually for everyone?

    Just spoken to Andrew, and weve come to an arrangement regarding food etc.

    We have 19 people on our stand including guests/wives etc so the plan is as follows;

    We will provide meat for everyone, to include steak, burgers and chicken fillets, bread buns and Rolls. He's bringing a stupid amount of meat so no-one will go hungry, even big phil lol

    We will also provide a huge tub of coleslaw and a crate of mineral water.

    if someone has a small generator, Andrew can bring a super dooper grill thing. If not, we will just rely on BBQ's

    If we cant get a generator, we need some BBQ's/ Grills. ]. If someone could sort that it would be great

    Im going to invite Total Vauxhall over for some grub too, hopefully they will accept and give us some free PR

    This is sounding fantastic so far guys - excellent. Thanks to everyone helping out/contributing so far. I've got a small BBQ that'll fit in the car, but I'm bu**ered if I can remember where it is!! I'll see if I can find it. If I can't, I certainly won't be bringing the garden BBQ, that won't fit easily in the back of the car!

    I'd say just go ahead Andy. I've looked through the rules as well and it only refers to selling food. There's nothing about lighting fires, BBQ's etc. The one rule that did catch my eye was...

    Fire Precautions
    27. Exhibitors and all Exhibitors’ Staff must familiarise themselves with fire precautions and are required to provide fire extinguisher(s) suitable for controlling and extinguishing any fi re which may occur on or adjacent to their stand.

    I always have two powder fire extinguishers in my boot, so I could have these on hand to fulfill that rule.
