BBQ at Trax ??????

Am i right in thinking someone suggested at one of the meets that we all bring one item to Trax to have a BBQ ???????????

any thoughts or suggestions on this peeps ??

yep, we were just talking about this in the admin section so i may as well start the ball rolling here.

The plan (suggested by a few) is to have a big 'social' BBQ at TRAX for those on our stand and guests/partners/wives etc etc. If we arrange it for a set time, it gives everyone enough notice to be back from wandering etc, so im suggesting we kick it off at 12pm (as most will have been there since 7am)

Big Phil and Drinky said they had some decent size BBQ's that they didnt mind bringing. If thats still the case could you both bring them and some coals? anyone else who has one and doesnt mind, it would be great if you did too, but let us know here so we dont end up with 15 bbq's lol

Abyss has been offering to get us some meat etc (as he's a butcher) so if you could do that Andrew it would be great. Im guessing enough for 20 people. If anyone is a Veggie, i suggest bringing your own selection so you dont end up with just veggie burgers lol.

Baine is chef trained so has offered to whip up something special

We'll all chip in to share the cost, so if phil, drinky and abyss work out how much they spend, we'll split the cost. In future, if weve managed to raise funds through merchandise sales etc, the club funds would pay for something like this.

Does that sound like a plan?

Andy and Big Phil were talking it over at the north east meet. Have a word with Abyss, he's a butcher, supply and demand and all that.... I think he's going to Trax as well

Its not a BBQ as such that ive got its a camping stove but will bring it any way plus i will supply the burger buns and hot dog rolls

As well as being a Chef I am a Veggie so will supply some veggie fodder ... This is just getting better, I may take some beers and leave the car at home *lol*

Good idea I'll be over at 11.55 but have you checked you can do this? Some shows do not permitt BBQ's as the food stands complain.

Not trying to rain on the parade here guys but just thinking if someone comes over and says 'sorry you can't do that'...
