    Eek Hand Brake Stuck On

    Hi
    Has anyone had this problem
I parked the car at work the other day left it for 9 hours went to it and the handbrake was stuck on just put it in gear and moved the car and it came off
I seem to remember i had the problem with a cavalier a few years ago
Is it me or is this a common problem with vauxhalls

If its damp when the handbrake is applied, it may stick a little. Mine does after I've washed the car, but always comes unstuck as soon as I drive off. It's the discs and pads sticking. May just need new pads

As a 2009 reg your car should still be under warranty
    Report it again
Although the pads and discs were previously replaced it may be the handbrake mechanism or more likely the caliper at fault
