    Default cd30 to cdc40

I have inquired about swapping my CD30 for a CDC40 it is possible to do but you need the following items Transceiver PN1311066 £202. Aerial Pn13112782 £14.50.Aerial Base 13140075 £46. the CDC40 costs a wacking £569. all plus VAT. I have found a smashed car with everything in but this tech 2 has got me worried. Vauxhall say easy fitted.

and you've got to get the crashed car powered up and then connected to TECH2 to get the CDC40 un-paired from it's existing car...

it's all down to how bad you want in-built VX nav..as the prices seem to add up to about another grand it makes me wonder if you'd be better off buying a car with it already fitted...

fitting would be easy, if you've got the nerve to gut the car's interior out a bit..
