    Default tar remover

    hi all

was wondering if any of you detailing guru`s can recommend a good tar
    remover.

because we live on a new housing development theyve now tarmac`d the
roads and ive got spots of tarmac all over the car and i mean all over it so i
would like to know if anyone can recommend a tar remover.

    thanks in advance

    andy

If you want real powerful stuff, use Autosmart Tardis, it works very well, but be careful on freshly painted surfaces, it will strip it clean. But doesn't do damage on existing paint.

It's the most effective tar/glue remover I have ever tried.

AG Tar remover is very good if your only got a few jobs to do. Old rag, soak in some product, hold against the tar a few seconds wipe off. If you think you will require to use it often or have a lot of body work to do Tardis from Autosmart is the way to go as Dennisd says. Spray on leave a few minutes to work and pressure wash off. Its about £20-£25 for 5lt for your AS Rep. Apparently it does stink to high heaven though.
