    Default I really need help

Right i hope you guys can help me with this please. Could anyone tell me the difference with a TWIN PLUG INJECTOR RAIL and a single plug injector rail for my vectra c cdti 150. I need a new rail as mine isn't that well. But i have been looking at some and both of these (double and single) seem to be used on my car over the years. Can i use any on my car, ?? i thought that one might be a upgrade over the years. To me they both look the same and when you go on ebay or any on the web they both say they are for the z19dth engine which is mine and for the year of my car aswell 2005.
I hope someone can help me with this

    Hi,

I'm not sure, but, I'd suggest there are two types because: At some point maybe 2006; the high pressure fuel sensors was moved from the left hand side of the rail - it was incorporated into the high pressure fuel pump. Therefore, two rails, one with a sensor and one with the left hand end capped.

never heard of any bother with any HP fuel pumps on the cdti.. so cant see it being that, can see it being a cost saving exercise though

Arrrgh, OK - The capped end on later models use to house the fuel pressure regulator - left hand side. It must have been this that was moved to the HP pump. The fuel pressure sensor is on the right hand side.

You've not said what's the problem with the rail. Have you disturbed any unions on it recently? Do the sensors checkout ok? Any leaks?
