    Default High Altitude...

Just an unusual sight I thought, earlier this morning

Two high altitude planes flying in the same direction very close to each other...

    What do you think?

At a guess USAF mate. I have a very similar photo taken a few years back. I believe commercial aircraft are supposed to be about 5 miles apart when in flight, so could be the Yanks.

Also makes you wonder how far apart they actually are, could one be 5000 feet higher then the other????
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

think they only need to be 2000ft above or below each other. They look like they are above 30,000ft so it'd be hard to judge at that distance how far apart they are.

Perhaps they are CIA rendition flights

Actually now that I think about it, potentially it could be Airforce One and it's decoy plane?

    Wait, not enough engines.

Probably air rage - one plane cut up the other one, so the offended one is chasing after it and is going to cut in front as soon as it gets ahead.
